Lavonda Manning is a New York based photographer, from New York and various states on the East Coast. Educated at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts' Photography & Imaging Program, she has worked with and assisted at Complex Magazine, IMG for Mercedes- Benz Fashion Week, Girls Scouts of the USA, ABC's Ugly Betty Costume Department, Inked Magazine, the New York Latino Film Festival, Buzz International Group, CBS Internactive, Katrina On the Ground, CMJ Music Marathon, and Habitat for Humanity. She has curated An Art Affair with Hip Hop for NYU, as well as, exhibited at Come See What We Are Made Of by Art Alliance Studio and Gallery in Red Bank, NJ; Engulfed by Katrina, photographs before and after the storm Back Hall Show curated by Deborah Willis, Hank Willis Thomas, and Blain Davis in NYC; and Visual Aids Postcards from the Edge in NYC.

She is basically an all round cool chick with a camera.
